01. Parties & project roles

This agreement identifies the collaborators and project. All collaborators’ names, roles and contributions should be agreed in writing. Choosing a role in a form is not alone a final allocation of copyright ownership or revenue.

02. Compensation model

The parties must specify whether the collaboration is flat-fee, royalty-only, fee plus royalties, or another arrangement. Exact fees, due dates, recoupment, royalty bases, deductions and accounting periods require written acceptance by all affected parties.

03. Composition & publishing

The musical composition is distinct from the sound recording. Songwriting percentages, publishing splits, administration, registration responsibility and approval of subsequent changes must be listed in a completed, mutually accepted split sheet or addendum. No split is presumed merely from session participation.

04. Master recording rights

Any master ownership, licenses, revenue shares, territory, term, distribution rights, synchronization rights and permissions to exploit or edit the recording must be set out explicitly. This form does not independently transfer all copyrights.

05. Credits & name usage

The collaborators will agree how TAVE and other contributors are credited, including recording musician, producer, co-writer or featured artist as applicable. Commercial use of a collaborator’s name or likeness beyond agreed credits should be separately approved.

06. Release, revisions & reporting

The parties will agree on delivery requirements, reasonable revisions, approval responsibilities, expected release plans, royalty statements and payment timing before final release. Changes in ownership, credits or scope require written acceptance.

07. Disputes & final acceptance

The parties should try to resolve disagreements in good faith. Texas law applies subject to mandatory law. Because royalties and copyright rights are project-specific, the submitted information is a proposed collaboration summary until mutually confirmed in writing, with all necessary split sheets and addenda. Typed signatures indicate intent to accept the displayed terms, but do not finalize unspecified rights.
